Pat Malloy was acknowledged for the recognition before the final Bears regular season game March 15th
Smiths Falls General Manager Pat Malloy was named the CCHL General Manager of the Year for the second straight season.
Malloy, who’s also the club’s head coach, says lots of work is done by every staff member to ensure the Bears operate with a championship mentality on and off the ice.
Their operations is a point of pride for the franchise, as Malloy knows holding everyone to a high standard only benefits the players.
Malloy made his biggest splash just before the trade deadline, bringing in forwards Lucas Culhane and Owen Watson from Brockville, who have recorded a combined 37 points in 24 games for the club.
The Bears enter the playoffs after finishing first in the Robinson Division and 2nd in the CCHL.
