A Wingham man is facing charges after two children and a youth were attacked by a dog.
The incident happened back on November 13th outside a church on John Street West.
Investigators with Huron County OPP say a four, six, and 16-year-old suffered dog bites and other non-life threatening injuries from an out-of-control vicious dog.
It was determined that the dog slipped out its collar and escaped the owner’s property and headed to the church area where it attack the three children.
The dog continued to bite the children until the owner arrived.
They say the dog turned out to be a breed (an American Staffordshire Terrier) that is considered banned in Ontario.
The 20-year-old will be in a Goderich court to answer to charges under the Dog Owner’s Liability Act.
