We are expecting a spring mix of rain and snow in parts of our listening area starting tomorrow morning.
It’s expected to arrive as rain, then change to snow late tomorrow afternoon or evening.
The snow, which may be heavy at times, is expected to continue through Thursday night.
Environment Canada says there is the “potential for significant snowfall accumulations” by the time snow begins to ease Thursday night.
Perth, Smiths Falls, Carleton Place and the Valley could see 15-22 mm of rain, then the Weather Network reports about 10 cms of snow after that.
That could change in either direction depending on the temperature. The forecasting agency says there remains a “high degree of uncertainty” when it comes to how much snow we could get.
We are also being reminded to prepare for possible power outages too.
