At the recent committee meeting for Perth town council, councillors reapproved the employment contract with their OPSEU staff that they originally inked last May.
While the Town and OPSEU came to a full-terms agreement last spring, a few housekeeping issues required extra time to sort out, hence the need for another vote.
The contract which is retroactive to last June, provides a 4.5% wage bump in the first year and 4% each in the remaining 2 years, ending in May 2026.
The committee voted unanimously to forward the contract to the next council meeting for ratification.
