There will be no changes to bell times for Upper Canada District School Board or CDSBEO students in September.
That’s because Student Transportation of Eastern Ontario representatives told the board it wouldn’t be feasible to make the switch until at least March 1st, 2025.
UCDSB Trustee David McDonald is on the STEO Board of Directors, and explains what an upcoming study will look into.
STEO have been asked to attend the April 24th board meeting to provide an operational report.
Some parents have expressed concern with a change and the impact it could have on their work schedules and childcare arrangements.
