The Perth Trash-ure Hunt is coming up this Saturday. It’s a chance to help do a little spring cleaning in the town and get it looking its best.
It’s also a great way to help out the environment.
Founder Sadie Brule joined our Brian Perkin to talk a little about it. She said the idea started with a thought of putting the town’s collective best foot forward ahead of our busy season.
And Brule says they’re excited about welcoming the community to help out on Saturday.
There are also volunteers who can drive participants to other parts of the town to help out, and bring them back to the bandhsell at the end of the cleanup.
Brule says that’s when the fun gets started.
If you’d like to help out, just check-in at the Bandshell behind Town Hall at 9 am on Saturday morning, then head out and start pitching in.
The event is brought to you by Perth’s Climate Change Advisory Panel.
