A Toronto resident has been charged following a single vehicle collision on Roger Stevens Drive.
Lanark County OPP alongside Smiths Falls Police and paramedics responded to a collision shortly before 5:30 a.m Saturday morning in Montague Township.
A car had left Roger Stevens Drive, just west of Rosedale Road. It struck a hydro pole and flipped over.
The driver was transported to an Ottawa hospital with serious injuries. Testing conducted at the scene and at the hospital resulted in the driver being arrested.
Shakhboz Yuldashev, 37, has been charged with:
- Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
- Drive motor vehicle – no licence
