The province has invested into creating three new Seniors Active Living Centre Programs in the region.
The Lanark Highlands program will provide seniors 55+ in the seven remote northern communities with social and recreational activities, from sports to cards.
The Maberly program will offer a book club, community meals, board games and more, while the Carleton Place centre will serve 150 seniors with social outings and events and more.
We will have more on this story as it develops.
