The Hike for Hospice is set for June 2nd at the Crystal Palace but now is the time to sign up for the effort to raise awareness and funds.
Spokesperson Anne Jansen told myFM The Hospice Hub started in 2023, so it’s fairly new.
While the gathering marks the official event, there’s another way you can help out if you’re otherwise engaged that day.
Registration begins at 9, then myFM’s Brian Perkin is your MC for the official start at 10. The Hike itself goes after a group warmup from fitness instructor Patty Boyd.
Janssen says the day is about coming together to promote the cause and the good work the Hospice Hub does for our communities.
She adds as people register they’re sharing some incredible information.
You can sign up at www.thehospicehub.ca.
There’s also a free information session to learn what The Hospice Hub is, and how it helps families with end of life care. It takes place at Algonquin College Wednesday evening at 7 pm.
