An application was moved forward for approval at Carleton Place Council regarding the long-vacant former Lanark County social housing homes off Townline Road.
The applicant’s planner, Eric Bays explained how a future building would be protected from any soil contamination issues that were formally found on the property.
Six of the dwellings facing Joseph Street would be demolished.
