Ontario is bringing in stricter penalties for those found guilty of committing auto theft.
The province will suspend driver’s licenses for at least 10 years for those who have been convicted of stealing a car, with a lifetime suspension for a third conviction.
The government says a car is stolen every 14 minutes in Ontario.
