A delegation protesting the federal government’s recent move to treat health products as pharmaceuticals connected with many Perth councillors who use such treatments on a regular basis.
Resident Stephanie Drummond argued that by over regulating many natural health products, costs will rise. She was asking council to support her call for declassification of NHPs to protect the health-care system.
The committee voted in favour of forwarding their supporting resolution to the feds.
