The warmer months! A time to relax, spend time with friends and family, and of course, to get rid of you hazardous waster. It’s a magical time of year.
The Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Depot in Carleton opens for the season on Saturday. It will stay open until Saturday, August 31st. It can be found at 128 Patterson Crescent.
The facility is open to those beyond Carleton Place, with deals in place with the municipalities of Beckwith, Drummond North Elmsley, Montague, Mississippi Mills, Smiths Falls, and Perth.
If you live somewhere else and have some hazardous waster you want to get rid of, call your town hall for instructions on how to do so.
Residents using the site in Carleton Place will be required to provide proof of residency.
