Smiths Falls Police responded to a wellbeing check at an Abbott Street address back on May 10th, and found more than they were expecting.
During the investigation, a man was found in possession of drugs and arrested under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
The man resisted arrest, leading to additional charges of obstructing and resisting a peace officer.
He was taken into police custody and is awaiting a bail hearing to address these charges.
None of the charges have been proven in court.
