The Friends of the Tay Watershed invite you to their first ever Tay Walk this Saturday. It’s a guided tour along the watershed in Perth with local experts explaining the importance of the watershed to the people of Perth.
President of the Friends of the Tay Watershed, Glenn Tunnock tells us all are welcome.
Tunnock says participants will learn more about the watershed and the importance of protecting it as they move through six stations along the route, each with an expert on site.
He adds its also important because if we don’t protect our water resource, our community won’t survive. You can get more information on their website here.
The Tay Walk begins at 2pm on Saturday at either Last Duel Park or the Rainbow Bridge. The experience lasts about 30 minutes.
