Carleton Place will be home to a special ceremony and parade Saturday to mark the 80th anniversary of the D-Day invasion.
The parade begins at 12:45 from Mill Street beside Town Hall and will proceed along Bridge Street to Franklin Street to Veterans Way.
The procession will be led by the Almonte Legion Branch 240 Pipes and Drums.
All are welcome to attend.
