Fire departments across Lanark County are getting a third tactical channel in hopes to make communicating easier.
Clerk Jasmin Ralph says it’s especially been an issue at larger calls.
Ralph added it will be beneficial for everyone.
The over $350,000 cost to set up a third channel will be covered mainly through fire and rescue communications reserves.
