Lanark County is reminding drivers that the Blakeney Bridge in the north east part of our listening area is closed for construction until mid-December.
Blakeney Rapids Park will remain open.
You’re asked to please follow posted signage for parking instructions.
The existing single-lane bridge, which was built in 1915, will be replaced with a two-lane modular bridge with a widened shoulder to accommodate pedestrians.
