The Mississippi Valley Conservation Authority isn’t all about land preservation.
As General Manager Sally McIntyre told Lanark County council, they also play an economic role.
McIntyre notes they’re always looking for additional opportunities.
The MVCA currently owns 11 dams, four conservation areas, and lease 2 properties from the City of Ottawa.
