Recently at Hilton Lac-Leamy, Lanark County Paramedic Deputy Chief Breanne Lapointe received one of the region’s most sought-after business awards for individuals under the age of 40 – A Forty under Forty Award.
Supported by the Ottawa Business Journal, the Ottawa Board of Trade, and the Telfer School of Management, this award recognizes recipients for their business accomplishments, professional experience, and community involvement.
This year, the competition was intense, with 163 nominations submitted. Each nominee was evaluated by a 4-member selection committee. The committee, selected the top 40 based on their achievements.
Breanne’s family and work colleagues, including Chief Travis Mellema, celebrated her achievement.
Chief Mellema praised Breanne, stating, “Under Breanne’s guidance, our paramedic service has achieved significant milestones in operational efficiency, patient care, and community outreach. We are incredibly proud of her for receiving this well-deserved recognition.”
