Mississippi Mills’ Community Pantry, part of the A Meal for All program, is seeking community donations to keep its shelves stocked.
The pantry, located at the Mississippi Mills Public Library Almonte Branch, helps local individuals and families who need access to food.
The pantry is requesting donations of items such as breakfast cereal, canned tuna, granola bars, pasta and sauces, fruit cups, ramen noodles, Kraft Dinners, and pet food.
Donated items can be left in the Community Pantry Donation Bins at the Almonte Public Library, located at 155 High St., Almonte, or at the weekly Thursday Community Breakfast at 111 Church St., Almonte.
Financial donations can be made to the A Meal for All program via e-transfer. For more information, visit https://lanarkcountyfoodbank.ca/e-transfer-information/. Cash donations can be placed in the suggestion box in the Community Pantry or given to the Team Lead at the Thursday morning Community Breakfast.
