The local watersheds could go without rain for a while.
General Manager of the Mississippi Valley Conservation Authority Sally McIntyre told myFM they’re still operating dams as we approach August, a practice that’s not usually done past June.
So far, the vigilance has worked.
The MVCA is hoping for a nice stretch of dry weather to help level things out.
