The Table Community Food Centre has expressed gratitude for the Town of Perth council’s recent decision to continue funding social organizations like theirs.
The Table shared impactful statistics from their 2023 report, highlighting the positive influence they’ve had on the community.
According to the report, 85% of participants felt an increased sense of belonging and support through The Table’s programs. Additionally, 91% of those surveyed made healthier eating choices, and 100% considered The Table an important source of healthy food.
The organization emphasized how small actions can create significant changes when the community comes together. They also extended a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported their cause by sending emails and attending the council meeting.
