Stewardship staff at the Mississippi Valley Conservation Authority removed 17 bags worth of invasive species in just one day of collecting.
The team is able to do so through the provinces’ Invasive Species Action Fund which supports 97 projects across Ontario to address these issues.
Garlic mustard and dog strangling vine were among the invasive species removed in the MVCA as staff continue to clean up the watershed.
