Smiths Falls residents shouldn’t be surprised if they see quite a few roadwork projects in the town.
Several streets are being paved today.
From 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., paving will take place on Cornelia Street West between the Hospital Emergency entrance and the Smiths Falls Community Centre entrance.
Later, Alfred Street from Abbott Street South to Brockville Street will undergo paving from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Paving will continue at the intersection of Carol Crescent and John Street from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
In addition, Aberdeen Avenue from Lombard Street to Elm Street West will be closed for catch basin repairs from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Residents should expect delays in these areas and plan their routes accordingly.
