Merrickville-Wolford Mayor Michael Cameron tells us one focus has been infrastructure.
A number of bylaw reviews are underway as is a waste water rate study.
Cameron says resident feedback has been a big part of the process.
Cameron says affordable housing is also top-of-mind in Merrickville-Wolford.
Cameron says they working with builders to ensure the village doesn’t lose its curb appeal.
Cameron also says it’s important not to do something that alters the fundamental look of Merrickville-Wolford.
Located on the Rideau River Cameron says the municipality also pays attention to climate impact on the region which includes having conversations with neighbouring municipalities that share the Rideau shoreline and watershed.
