Wednesday is the day that many Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation members will be out on the picket lines for a one day strike.
Teachers at Kincardine District and Saugeen District Senior Schools will be taking part in the job action.
All schools in the Bluewater District School Board are closed as are schools in the Avon Maitland District School Board.
But the Huron-Perth Catholic School Board has issued a press release stating that the OSSTF job action will have no impact on schools in the Catholic board.
The OECTA the union that represents Catholic teachers requested a no board report from the conciliator November 29th.
The issuance of a no board report could take several days but will mean that the union will wait 17 days before possibly instigating job action.
Meanwhile, all teachers are expected to return to work on Thursday.
