Smiths Falls is set to celebrate its unique connection to The Beatles with a special panel discussion on Sunday, September 29th, at 2 pm at the Station Theatre.
the afternoon highlights the town’s role in manufacturing Beatles records for the North American market, tying into the ongoing Beatlemania exhibit at the Smiths Falls Heritage House Museum.
The panel will feature Beatles expert Piers Hemmingsen, along with radio personalities Stu Paterson and Jack Thompson. They will share stories about working at the RCA Victor plant and CJET, answering questions and engaging with the audience.
The event will be moderated, with an open-floor discussion following a short break. Admission is by donation, but seats are limited. Tickets can be reserved through Eventbrite. The local Rotary club will be on hand to help facilitate this exciting event.
