
A 28-year-old man from Drummond/North Elmsley’s facing several charges after a high-risk arrest in Kingston Wednesday afternoon.
Members of the Ontario Provincial Police Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Squad located the wanted male and conducted a “high-risk” arrest near the intersection of Concession and Victoria Streets around 3 p.m. There were no injuries.
The OPP alongside the Smiths Falls Police Service and Kingston Police worked together to locate and arrest the individual who had multiple outstanding arrest warrants issued.
Charges against Brett Harrigan include, but are not limited to:
- Sexual Assault
- Assault with a weapon – two counts
- Assault Causing bodily harm
- Uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm
- Dangerous operation
- Mischief under $5000
The accused was held in custody and had a bail hearing in Brockville court Thursday.
