Carleton Place has secured $31,000 from Ontario’s Inclusive Communities Grant Program to upgrade the Ottawa Valley Recreation Trail.
The funds will be used to install 10 accessible benches along a four-kilometre section of the trail, making it more inclusive for residents.
Work begins this fall and will be completed by March of next year.
