The Town of Smiths Falls invites residents to an Open House Thursday to discuss their new 25 year official plan.
Mayor Shawn Pankow says feedback from the community is vital when drafting such an important document.
The mayor says they need to address several issues like transportation for those without cars, and removing barriers for seniors.
Karl Grenke Manager of Development Services says separate tables will allow residents to address specific concerns.
He says that will result in a summary document that will help guide the strategic direction when they begin drafting the new plan.
The Open House takes place Thursday, October 10th from 5 PM – 7 PM at the Youth Arena.
