Lanark County’s annual Tree Seedling Giveaway is back Saturday, October 19.
In partnership with Rideau Valley Conservation Authority, the giveaway will take place from 9-11 a.m. (or until supplies last) in two locations:
- Almonte Depot (4752 County Road 29 North, Almonte)
- Public Works Garage (99 Christie Lake Road, Perth)
You must be a county resident to receive trees and it’s a maximum of 10 per household.
At the Perth location, residents can learn more about wildflower seed, tree identification/planting tips, local programs and more.
