The “Hey Andy,” social media campaign put on by Perth Fire Services was a big success.
Fire Chief Trevor Choffe said it started the conversation they wanted to have around checking smoke alarms.
In the videos, Choffe told cheesy dad jokes to Assistant Fire Chief Andy Moore, before relaying the important reminder.
Moore received some good-nature jokes from the videos and they’re already thinking of next year.
Choffee told myFM they had several people call them throughout the campaign asking questions about smoke alarms.
