Perth is gearing up for a busy construction season with several important updates. Starting October 15, the parking lots at the Museum and Library on Herriott Street will close for 4-5 weeks.
Planned improvements include repaving, curb repairs, new asphalt, and fresh line painting. The alleyway beside Perth Restaurant will also receive an upgrade featuring interlock stone. During this time, permit holders can park for free in the Crystal Palace or Wilson Street lots.
Additionally, the Rainbow Bridge Pathway will be temporarily closed from October 15-29 for work on Thom and John Streets. Starting October 11, Treelawn Boulevard will see new sidewalks added along the westbound lane, with completion expected in 4-6 weeks. Access will be limited to local traffic only during this construction.
The town appreciates the community’s patience and cooperation as these enhancements are made.
