The water and sewer treatment plant upgrades are back on the 2025 budget despite seeing cost estimates balloon by 72% from $65 million to $113 million in order to accommodate growth in the town.
Mayor Toby Randell stated residents need to pay attention to what other impacts growth will bring.
Councilor Jeff Atkinson reminded everyone of one silver lining.
Council’s committee voted to put the projects back in the 2025 water budget with tenders expected to go out early next year.
