Smiths Falls CAO Malcom Morris says a plan’s in place for the town to continue getting their messages and documents out to residents amid the Canada Post work stoppage.
He says now’s a good time to encourage residents signing up for e-payments.
He didn’t specify what the contingency plan looks like, but said they’ll continue to monitor the labour strife and revisit their course of action should it become a prolonged strike.
