The Rideau Valley Conservation Authority (RVCA) is advising the public that staff will be trimming and removing hazardous trees along public trails in the coming weeks. Trail closures or detours may occur during this time, and visitors are asked to be patient as work is completed.
This project aims to ensure the safety of all those who enjoy the conservation areas.
The RVCA is also reminding visitors to stay away from bodies of water, especially near shorelines. Parents are encouraged to ensure children understand the importance of staying at a safe distance from the water’s edge.
The RVCA thanks everyone for their understanding and cooperation as they work to maintain safe and enjoyable spaces for outdoor recreation. For updates on trail closures or detours, please visit the RVCA website.
