Smiths Falls Police Service is investigating a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Lombard St and Lavinia St on Saturday, January 4, at around 11:30 a.m.
One of the vehicles involved, a blue hatchback, fled the scene, traveling southbound on Lavinia St.
Police have since found that vehicle and an adult male has been taken into custody.
Police are asking for any witnesses or anyone with video footage of the area to come forward.
