There are multiple reports that Central Wire in Perth has laid off several workers.
Many of the workers or family members took to social media to confirm that they were let go Friday.
It has not been confirmed how many workers were let go.
Central Wire manufactures ultra-fine wire, shaped profile wire, wire rope strands and more at their plants in three countries.
