Lanark County is providing support to residents experiencing homelessness through its Homeless Response Team.
The team offers assistance to individuals living in vehicles, tents, or temporary shelters. Support is available Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., by calling 613-267-4200 ext. 2140 or toll-free at 1-888-952-6275.
For after-hours emergency help, residents can call 613-206-1486. The program aims to connect people with resources, shelter options, and other services to ensure safety and stability.
Lanark County Victim Services also plays a role in this initiative, supporting those in need. The county encourages anyone facing housing challenges to reach out for assistance.
