Everyone’s invited to a ceremonial tree tap to kick off another maple syrup production season.
It’s taking place at Thompson’s Sweet Retreat in Clayton on Saturday, March 8th.
Wayne Thompson says they’re putting together a low-key but fun day for all who come out.
Thompson says there’ll also be live music.
You can make your way to Thompson Sweet Treats, located at 1922 Clayton Rd., Mississippi Mills.
The day runs from 11a.m. to 2 p.m, with the ceremonial tapping taking place at 11:30.
