Lanark County Interval House and Community Support has issued their demands for the fight against Intimate Partner Violence ahead of Thursday’s provincial election.
They’re calling on the winning party to declare IPV an epidemic, to appoint a commissioner on IPV, ensure stable core funding for all anti-violence agencies, build safe and affordable housing, and begin with a commitment to 0 in 10. That means 0 femicides in 10 years.
