A Carleton Place resident has been charged in connection with a series of threats.
Lanark County OPP responded to a coffee shop where employees received numerous threatening phone calls on February 23rd.
The following day, police executed a warrant on a Lake Avenue East home and arrested 36-year-old Matthew McGetrick without incident.
He’s been charged with two counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, criminal harassment, and harassing communications.
