Lanark County Community Justice (LCCJ) is looking for volunteers to help with Community Justice Forums as part of its court diversion program.
Training for volunteer facilitators begins in March 2025 and includes both online and in-person sessions. The in-person training will take place at the Perth Community Services Hub, located at 1881 Rogers Road.
LCCJ encourages those interested in restorative justice to visit its website or watch the “Facilitators” playlist on YouTube to hear from current and former volunteers.
Community Justice Forums bring together those affected by crime or conflict to find meaningful resolutions outside of the traditional court system. Volunteers play a key role in guiding these conversations.
To learn more or to sign up, contact program coordinator Samantha Snyder at program.coordinator@commjustice.org or call 613-264-1558 ext. 804.
