Ontario PC’s John Jordan is heading back to Queen’s Park representing Lanark-Frontenac Kingston after a solid win at the polls.
Jordan handily beat his opponents cruising to a second term. Before the election was called, Jordan served as the parliamentary secretary to the minister of agriculture.
Jordan told myFM he is honoured to be chosen by the electorate.
Jordan says the issues he faced on the campaign trail didn’t really catch him off guard.
Jordan also acknowledged his family and team.
Rob Rainer came in a distant second for the Ontario Liberals, while John McRae finished third for the NDP, and the Green Party’s Marlene Spruyt finished fourth.
For Rainer and the Liberals, that’s an improvement over the 2022 results that saw the party finish third, after the NDP finished in second spot.
We will have final results once all polls have reported, and more with Jordan in the coming days.
