Hospitals in Bruce and Huron Counties are getting provincial funding.
Huron-Bruce MPP Lisa Thompson announced on Wednesday that over $3 Million will be going to nine hospitals.
In a statement, Thompson says these investments are vital to ensuring local hospitals will be able to make upgrades and improvements to their facilities.
Kincardine hospital is receiving over 300 thousand dollars while Alexandra Marine and General in Goderich is getting over 102 thousand.
Thompson says this is part of the government’s investment of $175 million this year to support hospitals across Ontario.

Seaforth Community Hospital – $923,388
South Huron Hospital – $878,877
Wingham and District Hospital – $234,254
Grey Bruce Health Services, which includes the Southampton Hospital, is also receiving $2,831,982
