Linden Housing Co-operative received $12 million in loans through the Canada Mortgage Housing Corporation last month.
Chair Steven Welchner said they’re one of three projects in the country to receive the funding, $4 million of which is forgivable.
The money will cover the entire build at 79 Wilson St. West in Perth.
Welchner said the property will be diverse across its 36 affordable units.
