Perth Studio Theatre’s latest production is hitting the stage starting May 1st. Waiting for the Parade is a Canadian drama by John Murrell. Set in Calgary during World War II, the play focuses on five women left behind while their husbands, sons, and loved ones are off fighting. Studio Theatre’s Vannessa Torres sets the scene.
Vannessa tells us the dates of the play and its topic were specifically chosen for area audiences.
While Waiting for the Parade is a true drama, depicting a very emotional era of upheaval, it provides music as a backdrop to connect audiences with the production.
The play runs from May 1st to the 11th with both evening and matinee performances. Check out times and tickets at StudioTheatrePerth.com
