Lanark County has partnered with the Canadian Centre for Housing Rights, a non-profit that promotes the rights to adequate, accessible, and affordable housing, to deliver a very timely series of online information sessions to area residents.
Lanark County’s Housing Services Manager Kaitlyn Murray gives us the details on the one coming up Thursday, May 8th.
The series continues on May 15th with a session on repairs and maintenance as Murray details.
These online meetings conclude on May 21st with coverage of evictions.
Each session will be approximately one hour long and includes a dedicated question-and-answer period.
Attendees with specific inquiries are encouraged to submit their questions to Lanark County in advance.
This ensures that the topics are either addressed during the session or allows the presenter an opportunity to ensure they are able to provide a thorough and informed response.
Those interested can housingapplications@lanarkcounty.ca,contact The County’s office at 613-267-4200 ext 2402, go online to their website, lanarkcounty.ca or follow them on Facebook.
