Local MP Michael Barrett says that the Conservative Party fully supports their leader Pierre Poilievre.
He says the support doesn’t come as a surprise to him as a re-energized party prepares for the next session.
Barrett says they also saw support from the party grow in sectors like among immigrants and certain industries, but realizes overall, they came up short.
He says that Poilievre will make sure the party will learn the lessons that resulted in them falling short.
